I don’t think people will spend $xxx or $xxxx for a domain name. In India people usually bargain a lot for what they get if not they find an alternative. ex : if tabo.in costs $x,xxx he might choose taboindia.in for $xx. ( The same applies to LLL.in’s. In India most of the companies are of either started developing or of small or mid scale. There are little chances for Mid’s to buyout LLL or LLLL.in’s. Right now there are more than 70% of good LLLL.in’s are available. I actually had an idea of registering atleast 5k good LLLL.in’s but actually dropped the plan since reg fee itself is $13.xx at resellerclub. and registering will cost $66,xxx it will come around 32 Lakhs and at the expense of it i need to sell atleast few domains at cost of $100 or $200. since no one is goona buy all of 5k domains i might sell 1-200 at a price of $300 each… 300×200=60000 . But even at that much cost i need to sell only to enduser. since there is no reseller price for LLLL.in. If i had luck i would make more than my investment but right now time is not good for economy and even not a good idea to invest in LLLL.in but after 3 or more years things might take a shift. LLLL.in’s and LLL.in’s today are good only for foreign corporates coming to invest in India. With one laptop perchild and Nuclear deal signing off . American Corporates will be investing in India and moreover English is used 95% in Administration and even in Schools english is medium of First language, Indian Internet users grow day by day (we have dumb government investing in 3G technology when the world started using 4G hehe). India’s cTld .in will boom in next 10years things will change drastically. Right now iam going ahead with llll.com’s and .net’s.

To sumup LLLL.in right now dosent have any future since no indian companies as of now will be ready to spend xxxx amount on domains. but after 5-7 years its price will increase corporate thinking about internet might change. Domains can be best investment if you do it in right way. example : SEX.com was sold for $14Million ! amazing eh ? why is so much price ? if you visit sex.com you would find nothing but a parked page with links no nude photos or videos. but the domain itself earns a lot of money for its name and earnings through parking. why so much money for it ? imagine a newbie or someone (not geeks) who wants porn photos or videos for downloads the first things comes in their mind is SEX.com and people type sex.com in their browser. why should people things of sex.com ? its because anyone who thinks of internet or talks about internet they normally say “this.com or that.com”. i have even heard people telling their email id as “www.somename.com”. Thats beacuse .com as penetrated so much in to peoples mind. Also all major brands are in .com. Thats why many people call .COM as KING.

Dictionary word .com’s can be worth anywhere from $xxx-$xxx,xxx. why so much eh ? as i said earlier in the above para. people might simply type run.com ran.com fuck.com fling.com date.com etc etc.

3 Character Domains or LLL.com’s – whats it? ex : ABC.com CNS.com THC.com SEX.com etc. 3character domain included with dictionary word is more costlier. 3char domains are very rare to get dropped beacuse in whatever alphabet combination to make you would make only 17k domains (correct me if iam wrong). all 17k+ domains are registered wayback in 2002. people registred it for $8-15 and now 3char domain minimum wholesale price is $5k.
