HIS CHARACTER+HER CHARACTER=MY CHARACTER

Character- the most important virtue that makes each human distinct. Let me first give a brief introduction about character. it is not simply the behavior or outer exposure of a person but it also include the way he/she thinks, decide things and picture the world around them. it’s normally said that “CHARACTER IS NOT READY MADE”. But character can very well be changed through constant practice.

” CHARACTER CANNOT BE DEVELOPED IN EASE AND QUITE,
ONLY THROUGH EXPERIENCE OF TRIAL AND SUFFERING,
CAN THE SOUL BE STRENGTHENED, VISION CLEARED,
AMBITION INSPIRED AND SUCCESS ACHIEVED.”
-HELEN KELLER.

Now lets come to the present scenario. Nowadays this greatest virtue “character” is being faked generally. lets see this in each stages of life. A child of five years tries to do something that makes others around him to notice him, and this gradually becomes his character. An yet grownup child? He tries to earn a good name among others and does things and this becomes his character.
The most vulnerable stage here is again the teen. Each impact-  either positive or negative will produce or induce a tremendous change in the mindset of the teens. Let me explain a common episode that happens in majority of lives. Parents normally compare their children with neighbors, relative’s children, children of the people known to them and so on. My sincere advice is AVOID THIS! Because, this is a very worst case of destructive criticism. In these cases the boy or girl never tries to find Whats good in the person to whom he/she is compared to, but they start finding any small faults in them( VERY DANGEROUS STAGE OF JEALOUSY). This reduces their friendly nature and they start doing this to everyone around and eventually that becomes a character.

And there is yet another scenario to be discussed in teens. This happens in schools and colleges. Here there will be some two to five students who are pets for teachers. This may be of various reasons. But the other students automatically start molding their behavior copying the pet guys. The reality here is that, not only that they can’t successfully change their behavior but also they will loose their own character too. This leads them to a very bad state of loosing their attitude. Remember always that, its not that the character of other students that you have to look upon but its your attitude that has to be given importance. mold your character , not according to others but considering your inner self just taking into account two things,

1. your attitude should never harm others physically or mentally.
2. build a self motivating and optimistic attitude.

So , don’t loose the character that you built with so much trials and sufferings for someones sake! Lets all be unique yet spreading the optimistic energy to our fellow beings.
