USD 1.5 trillion parked by Indians in Swiss and other offshore tax haven countries. The BJP and The CPI[M] have come heavily on the UPA goverment to bring back the money. Sitaram called the UPA goverment to make measures to bring back the money and BJP on other hand asked the UPA goverment to table the list of ministers who have travelled to Swiss for unofficial purpose. but the isuue is the ministers shall not only from UPA but also from NDA and others too. Its not a matter of UPA vs NDA on this issue. People must understand that the ‘Elite’ political society should be brought to justice. The USD 1.5 trillion costs around 75 crore lakhs in INR. The Indian Nationals are estimated to have around Rs.25 lakh crores and Rs.75 lakh crores in offshore bank accounts with tax benefits.
Why is Manhoman Singh silent ?
Just curious why is singh is KING silent on this issue ? The G20 have passed a resolution for first time to impose economic restrictions and build pressure on states who fail to declare blackmoney and secret accounts public. Why is Singh is so silent on this issue and no news channel followed it ?
Switzerland recently joined worldbank and UN-led global inititative to return money deposited by corrupt world leaders. After 17 years the swiss banks have paid $600 million to Philippians that have been stole by the dictator-president Ferinand Marcos. $700 million have been paid to Nigeria which have been deposited to by dictator Sani.
$1.5 Trillion is more than the amount needed on whole for the world countries to fix the current onging financial crisis.
The question is how much majority of members of parliament will say ‘Ayes’ to bring back the black money :raised eyebrows:
